This model follows a traditional appointment-based framework and is designed for individuals seeking expert psychiatric evaluation and structured treatment without a membership-based access model.  Appointments are scheduled individually, communication occurs within visits, and care proceeds in clearly defined phases.

Our practice provides comprehensive psychiatric consultation and treatment across a broad spectrum of psychiatric and substance use conditions. Care is individualized, confidential, and grounded in advanced clinical expertise.

Each evaluation is conducted directly by Dr. Venera Miller and reflects a careful, diagnostic approach designed to clarify complexity and guide thoughtful treatment planning.

Both in‑office and secure telepsychiatry appointments are available throughout the DMV region.

Care Pathways

In select cases, ongoing treatment may be established following completion of the initial consultation phase.

In other cases, detailed written recommendations are provided to coordinate with existing treating clinicians, allowing continuity within the patient’s broader care network.

This structure is particularly well-suited for individuals seeking expert evaluation and strategic guidance without entering a membership-based model.

Consultation Psychiatry is structured around focused assessment, strategic treatment planning, and scheduled follow‑up visits. It does not include expanded access features such as same‑week urgent accommodations, direct messaging communication, or intensified oversight between appointments.

• When clinically indicated, focused laboratory evaluation and selected genetic or pharmacogenomic testing may be incorporated to support individualized treatment planning.

Consultation Psychiatry provides comprehensive outpatient care within a traditional structure. For individuals requiring enhanced scheduling flexibility, increased communication responsiveness, or structured containment during periods of instability, Executive Membership tiers may be appropriate.

Innovative Treatment for Treatment‑Resistant Depression

​

​We offer SPRAVATO® (esketamine) nasal spray, an FDA‑approved therapy for treatment‑resistant depression.

Our office is a REMS‑certified SPRAVATO® treatment center, providing in‑office monitoring and physician supervision in accordance with federal safety standards.
